You may use your Certificate to receive an insurance discount and to dismiss your ticket. The top portion of your certificate will contain information for the court and the bottom portion will contain information for insurance. The court copy must be presented to the court as indicated on your citation. It is suggested that the court copy be hand-delivered or sent certified mail, return receipt requested. If you wish to use the insurance portion for a discount on your automobile policy, contact your insurance agent. Keep copies for your records. We do report your course completion to the Texas Education Agency.
